Jordan Pearse

Jordan grew up on the east coast of Aotearoa New Zealand, in a place called Heretaunga. Her tribal connections extend from Ngāti Kahungunu down to Rangitāne o Wairau. The work she does spans research, strategy, systems design, equity, and community engagement across Māori and tribal organisations, communities, public service, and private sectors. At the heart of this work is translating values, rights, interests, and aspirations into practical approaches that support meaningful change. In the research context, she is particularly interested in reciprocity across research and innovation and how communities and institutions can be brought closer together to reach shared outcomes.
