Nina Vermot is FREYJA's Project Manager who supports the Lead PI with the administrative and financial management of the project while serving as liaison between the FREYJA collaborators and funding authority. Nina brings over five years of experience in administrative, financial and operational management within international and diplomatic environments. She holds a Master’s degree in International Affairs from the University of Iceland, specialising in Arctic and Small States studies, as well as academic backgrounds in languages and literature. Alongside her professional career, Nina has been actively involved in Arctic cooperation and youth engagement. She has served as Executive Director of the Arctic Youth Network, overseeing organisational operations and contributing to international projects and partnerships focused on Arctic futures.
