Dr. Janet Jull is an Associate Professor and Canada Research Chair in Accessibility and Person-Centred Care at Carleton University. She is a health services and implementation science researcher with a focus on accessibility, equity-oriented care, integrated knowledge translation, and shared decision making. Drawing on a background in population health, she leads collaborative research that advances person-centred care and equitable health systems and works with Indigenous partners to support self-determination. Dr. Jull leads an internationally recognized program of research in co-production and shared decision making, including the Not Deciding Alone initiative, and has led initiatives in training and methodological development for community-centred research, including the Indigenous Community Research Partnerships training resource.
To develop and test potential practical processes for inclusive, respectful and feasible research reciprocity practices with eDNA science and how institutional systems and processes can promote capacity building and benefit sharing from research collaborations.
